EVSS and MPA Concurrent Degree Program

Students in the EVSS Program may participate in a concurrent degree program with the Master of Public Administration program at the College of Charleston, receiving two master's degrees in three years rather than four, with a focus on sustainability issues.
The EVSS Program will prepare you for the challenges of a career in the environmental field. Courses examine the development and implementation of public policy responses to environmental issues. You will also gain a greater understanding of how information should be used to assess societal risk and create policy. Alternatively, the MPA program teaches you how to effectively manage organizational resources and exposes you to the political settings in which policy is often developed.
